A German-based solar panel manufacturer
Solar energy is one of the most dynamic sectors of the renewable energy industry. Individuals and businesses are increasingly taking advantage of energy programs and becoming customers of photovoltaic companies.
Our client is a German company that produces solar panels and operates in a B2B model. Their customers include large-scale venues such as hospitals, police stations, schools, and shopping malls, where solar panels can be installed on roofs or other top surfaces.
As the company expanded, it adopted multiple systems to manage its operations, both internal and those involving customers and regulators. This included several customized tools without existing integrations. However, these disparate systems created data silos, limiting visibility and flexibility. The company needed a more connected software ecosystem to support its growth.
To better understand the client’s needs, we conducted an on-site workshop at their headquarters. This workshop allowed us to discuss the cooperation, business challenges, and specific requirements in detail.
Our team focused on connecting various applications used in the client’s sales and operational processes. The integration project involved tools such as a daily workflow suite, HR tools, solar panel data monitoring and energy management systems.
We developed an integrator to enable client’s applications to communicate with each other and gather information in one place. This integration also included a backend database to collect data for future analysis.
We also evaluated some tools to determine how they could support the sales process and serve as a CRM system.
Our collaboration with the client’s team was very effective. They appreciated our project management skills and team fit. We successfully delivered on the project requirements, resulting in improved data flows. With integrated data, the client now enjoys enhanced operational efficiency, positioning them for continued growth in the dynamic solar energy sector.
