The Client

The client is a digital transformation accelerator company operating in the financial sector, helping customers to deliver excellent products and services that bring economic benefits.

Software development teams at the company build innovative software solutions for the world’s largest financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail companies. Their unique transformation service is an incremental approach to end-to-end development, allowing clients greater flexibility to drive technology initiatives and results.

The client helps employees from the largest Fortune 500 companies in payments, retail, automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, and start-ups. The company is spread across the globe with a workforce of 2000 employees.

Project Scope

The cooperation in its current stage consists of multiple projects. Initially, the client required several full-stack software developers specialized in Ruby, Java,.NET, and JS to aid the existing teams in further developing significant finance-related projects.

The main tasks in ongoing projects involve the following:

  • Finding and solving incompatibilities are the main tasks.
  • R&D and expanding functionalities of existing products
  • Integration of a ‘buy now-pay later’ platform with all sorts of payment methods and client systems—adaptation of the platform to the European market.
  • Since the early stages of the cooperation, our teams have been responsible for maintaining a European part of one the biggest online payment services in the world.
  • Maintenance of other financial services for different clients
  • Rewriting a 20-year old application (oracle based) to a new architecture to allow better scaling

The effect

Initial ‘body-lease’ request quickly grew into a larger scale cooperation with more experts involved in more projects. Currently our software developers work side-by-side with clients inhouse teams, on a wide range of task. While software maintenance remains the main pillar of our task, rewriting legacy code and integration of emerging systems are being added to the list as the clients company acquire new partners requiring new solutions, along the way. Increased technical capacity, improved performance, and access to a talent pool of hard-to-find experts are the additional results of leveraging our outsourcing services.
